“Although I was not with the high school team last year, I was always very aware of the team, and I think it was the union, and so many trainings together at 6 am, also, the tactical components trained, and obviously the talent of the players. All that influenced to be champions this year,” head coach Samuel Villa said.

After all the hard work put into one specific goal, all the team had high standards for his years binationals. They were able to be undefeated and finally achieved their ultimate goal: winning.

“This year we were able to finish what we always wanted, felt amazing to finally be able to beat CNG in the finals and it’s pretty amazing to do accomplish it with this team,” said Pablo Florez, TCS senior and team captain.

After all the sacrifices and determination put into the team they were able to carry out what they truly wanted and they were satisfied.

“Happiness to win that final and to know that all that work and all that effort paid off is one of the greatest happiness I’ve had in my life,” said Velez.
