Australian Universities Visit TCS

In order to open their minds and doors for the future, Students from 10th to 12th grade had the opportunity to attend an Australian university fair last week.

They were located in the new library at the administration building. Each university had its own stand where they presented their expectations, requirements, and the opportunities they give to the students.

“The Universities are being able to show different programs, different opportunities for each student.” Maria Teresa the college counselor, said.

Australian universities are looking forward to hosting international students. They offer an ambiance where students feel welcome they are interested in TCS students applying to their college, due to their high academic level and different perspectives.

“I think it is very important for colleges to have an ambiguous community since if all of the community is not form one area they might have different political perspectives or social perspectives,” Maria Clara Gutierrez, College Counselor, said.

The average tuition and fee for a year at The University of Sydney are in between $40,000 and $60,924, but there are three types of financial aid: Grants, Loans, and work-study. Some students mentioned that the amount of money pays off for the quality not just in the infrastructure but in the education and opportunities it provides. They also admitted that all the universities that came to the fair you need a 3.2 GPA rank. This Gpa is the overall of all the Universities that came some are more vigorous and others are cushier.
