Fresh Flavors: Exploring Exciting New Healthy Restaurant Options in Medellin

Fresh+Flavors%3A+Exploring+Exciting+New+Healthy+Restaurant+Options+in+Medellin

As more people prioritize health, restaurants in Medellin are stepping up their game. New spots are popping up everywhere, offering tasty food that’s also good for you. After checking out all the options, including places on Rappi, I’ve put together a list of the best health-focused restaurants. With this list, you can easily find your new go-to spot for delicious and nutritious meals in Medellin. Interviewing health enthusiasts a TCS we’ve learned why these restaurants are the new hit all around Medellin.

In the vibrant streets of Medellin, it’s hard to miss the growing wave of health-conscious living. From weekend marathons to hot yoga sessions and paddle. And with this newfound focus on health comes a natural craving for nourishing, balanced meals. It’s a trend that hasn’t escaped the notice of Medellin’s restaurateurs, who are awoken to the evolving tastes and preferences of Paisas. From Poke bowls, wraps, toast, and salads, Medellin has it all. Discovering fresh flavors is what we all love, especially knowing is clean and lean.

Mundo Verde, Yes, I know it’s not a secret to anyone, but it wouldn’t be a list of healthy restaurants in Medellín without this option. Here you can eat as fit or as fat as you want, the ingredients are great as are their sauces and vinaigrettes. we all love Mundo Verde, is such a good classic. I recommend the Korean BBQ bowl, the avocado wrap, and the salmon poke, they are the dishes that I always order.

“One of my go-to’s every weekend, when I want to feel healthy but also have many delicious options,” said Amalia Restrepo Grade 11.

A restaurant where, regardless of the diet you’re on, you can eat anything you want. In addition to being stylish and comfortable, Treat in Mall Zona dos offers some delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack, and dinner selections. All of their dishes include a variation of the typical and not so healthy ingredients. Like stevia, almond flour, coconut flour, ghee, etc. All of their produce comes from local farms to provide the freshest ingredients.

“My favorite will always be the acai bowl, it includes peanut butter, coconut, strawberries, and chia seeds,” said Giulia Montorssi Grade 11

Florez Food Garden, A place in Provenza with a casual atmosphere, great for the evenings, having a cocktail or sangria but enjoying healthy options. The place is like a garden, decorated with lights and flowers. The fact that this restaurant has three dish suggestions is what’s most amazing about it. Fit options include vegan and gluten-free options for individuals who wish to start a new year with a greater awareness of the food they are putting into their bodies, as well as options for people whose nutrition is not their top priority. This means that there will be possibilities for everyone in your family.

The classic, yet delicious, Romero is well-known to all. The restaurant is part of the Aire de Romero franchise. being the ideal location for brunch with friends and family.  This tasty restaurant serves waffles, bowls, casseroles, smoothies, and much more. El Tesoro Parque Commercial is the only place they are located. Despite having a large menu, their toast and waffles stand out the most. For example “Trufados” Delicious poached in a perfect combination of mesclun and pearl tomato in truffle oil that you can combine with your favorite protein (sliced Turkey Breast, Smoked Salmon or Prosciutto) for $39.900. Their sweet and salty waffle selection is amazing, Salmon, banana, mushrooms and burrata all sound like a must-try when brunching at Aire de Romero.

For a fresh and unprocessed option, Hawaiian poke is located in Provenza. Is a small and simple restaurant and is one of my favorite places to eat poke. I know that many people are not big fans of sushi or raw fish, but the good thing is that the protein options are almost infinite, they make them crunchy, vegetarian, with tofu, with chicken, and even with pork. The toppings are also endless, edamame, mango slices, crunchy onions, cherry tomatoes, avocado, seaweed salad, and many many more. This option is also on Rappi and the service is amazing. Make sure to pair your poke order with Jamaican water which they make fresh every day.

“The best-underrated poke bowl in Medellin, I order mine with mango, carrots, radish, salmon, and avocado dressing,” said Federico Villegas Grade 11.

Medellin’s dining scene is evolving to meet the demand for healthy yet flavorful options. From loved classics like Mundo Verde to hidden gems like Florez food, a variety of restaurants offer nutritious meals made with fresh, local ingredients. Whether you’re brunching at Aire de Romero or enjoying a poke bowl at Hawaiian Poke, these eateries exemplify Medellin’s commitment to tasty, health-conscious dining experiences.
