The Danger of Plastic

In Colombia at the The Columbus School, we have many animals in our small forest. Near this forest there is construction. With the high altitude, forest conditions, and cloud forest climate  we have lots of wind. The plastic gets stuck in the forest, where many of our animals on campus live. Even though in this picture it doesn’t show the bird well, this bird has a tail full of bright colors. We believe that even though people use so much plastic and it ends up in the ocean or the forest, we can still fix it. We say that anyone who has littered can redeem themselves by reducing the plastic they buy each day. Can you take the challenge of reducing your plastic use?
