Solutions to an Abandoned Society

La Guajira, Colombia: In the middle of a desert, there is so much plastic. The desert is a place where population is usually lower. Even though people do not throw their garbage in the trees or rivers it somehow ends up there. In la Guajira the wind is very strong and a result of that no matter where the garbage is dropped it will end in the ocean or desert. They don’t have the systems we have in a city. I propose to create a system where the people store the recycled products, and twice a month a truck could go and pick up the bins. It could also take supplies like water and food (if the community pays for them).
