To develop a better understanding about sexuality TCS High School students attended a workshop presented by ProFamilia on campus, on December 1.

This workshop was organized by High School counselors, Ana Garcia and Andres Rendon, who contacted this non profitable organization that focuses in sexual health and offers medical services.

“The idea that Pro Familia has professionals, dedicated to this topic all the time is much easier for us to know who can help the students,” Andres Rendon HS Counsellor said.

High School Counselor Ana Garcia decided for the TCS students to have a meeting with a person of this entity in order for all the students to get out all their doubts about this topic.

The 11th graders were divided into two groups, boys that went to the band room and girls who were in the theater.

“What they are missing in order to be more effective, because what ends up happening is that in one year they see the same thing over again the next,” 11th grader Pedro Velasquez said

The expert in the topic Cristian Medina, had the 11th graders men in the band room, here they had a Kahoot game in order for them to know more about the topic.

“ It was more used to grab the attention, even to the point where the phones could break some of the trust and make it an environment where they would feel good,”Cristian Medina said.
