Inflexion Memorial Park: A new way to Remember History
Inflexion Memorial Park, located where Monaco, Pablo Escobar’s building, used to be, tells the story of narcotrafficking during the 80s and early 2000s.
The Park Inflexión was inaugurated on December 20, 2019. It is located where Monaco, Pablo Escobar's building, used to be. This building was demolished on February 22, 2019. During the years 1986 - 1988, Pablo Escobar lived in this building with his family. In order to protect himself, he had tunnels to escape in case of attack and the columns were strengthened with marmol. Additionally, there was a room with a tube that would allow him to breathe in case of being bombarded with gas.
