Two Middle School students who dressed up as skaters get photographed in the HS coliseum. TCS directives set up some boundaries as to what costumes may look like this year, banning fake weapons, and offensive costumes towards any culture or ethnical group. Despite these restrictions, students are free to choose their costume, “I just thought of the first word that came to my mind and searched for a costume in Amazon,” Tomas Mejia, Grade 7 student, said.

A group of students in the HS coliseum competes in the Big Twist. Most of the attractions brought in by Jalm such as Bubble Football or Tug-a-war require communication and teamwork. However, other activities such as the Mechanical Bull and Big Twist spark the students competitive spirit. “I didn’t expect to see more fun attractions than last year, however, this year was amazing! My favorite part was competing against my friends,” Luciana Pertuz, Grade 8 student, said.

Two Middle School students who dressed up as angels are photographed on the Boulevard awaiting the seniors. Every year TCS seniors arrive in different vehicles with a thematic costume and kick off the Halloween parade. This year, they surprised everyone by dressing up as snow skiers. “It was incredible and extremely entertaining to see them arrive on a worm train. Where did they even get it?” Sara Galeano, Grade 8 student, said.

Two Middle School students are entertained by the 3D simulator in the HS coliseum. This year, the newest and most long-awaited attraction was the 3D simulator. This allowed students to experience a mix of speed, laughter, adrenaline, and the impression of a real roller coaster all at once.

Middle School students show off their costumes on the Boulevard. For over 30 years, TCS has made Halloween a memorable day for all, by bringing in food booths and best costume competitions.

Alongside Jalm Sport and Recreation, TCS prepared an eventful day for students from K4 to Grade 12, with different attractions such as the Mechanical Bull, the Big Twist, Bubble Football, Soapy Tracks, Tug-a-war, and lastly, a fan-favorite, the 3D simulator.

Due to the heavy rain, the HS coliseum was packed with students from all grade levels who engaged in different activities. Many students expected this year to be different, “We hope for the sun to come out eventually,” “Or at least hope that it doesnt continue to rain,” Amelia Morales and Sofia Bonilla, Grade 8 students, said.

Two Middle School social studies teachers pose for a picture outside the theater. Costumes this year varied all the way from duos to groups of nine students, “The coolest costume I saw this year was a group of nine juniors dressed up as workers of Lavafante,” Paulina Lopez, Grade 8 student, said.
