San Andrés Seniors Trip

Seniors+arrived+to+Jhonny+Kay+on+thursday+to+enjoy+their+paint+party.
Seniors arrived to Jhonny Kay on thursday to enjoy their paint party.

After years of excitement, the San Andres trip started on the 14th of February 2024. All seniors were reunited at the airport at 8:00 am. After a 5-day trip and 4 nights, everything happened on the mighty island of San Andres, join us as we recall the unforgettable journey with lots of anecdotes of the best trip ever.

Once the seniors arrived at San Andres, they immediately got to the hotel, Decameron Aquarium, with the transport that the staff had prepared. When they got to the Decameron Aquarium, hotel, we got into a boat that tour us by the bay.

After returning from the boat, it was deemed “lunchtime.” However, not everyone was able to eat at that moment, though it was the scheduled time. Following the meal, it was time for the next gathering.

“For me, the best and funniest moment of San Andres was when we were coming back from the boat because one friend fell into the water,” Senior Martin Vasquez, said.

When seniors arrived at the first night party, they witnessed a show that was a surprise from the STAFF members. After enjoying this amazing show, time flew by, it was suddenly 3 am and the party was still not over.

“The trip itself was very fun. People always talked about San Andres in the Senior year but I didn’t understand the importance of this trip until I lived it myself,” Senior Samuel Aristizabal, said.

As they journeyed through breathtaking landscapes and shared unforgettable moments, it became abundantly clear that the people who accompanied them on this trip were truly extraordinary. Each person brought their unique perspective, adding depth and richness to the experience.

“One of the adults that accompanied us was called Chiki, and he was the best because we started joking with him and laughing about all kinds of random stuff,” Montoya said.

Seniors went to a private island that had a part only for the members of the trip, they got all painted over with some neon colors and started enjoying the amazing island. After all of this, they got to the hotel without time to eat because the next party was already starting.

“During the Pontones, we went into the sea and some people started screaming because of a ray, it was very funny seeing people swim away,” Senior Pablo Londoño said.

“During our time in the airport we had lots of fun, especially seeing all the crazy things people said, or when some of our friends put music loudly in the waiting room,” Montoya, said.
