Inking Memories

Tattoos have become trendy in TCS High school students, lately students have been inking their skin to mark important and meaningful events of their life.

Some students are getting tattoos to remind themselves of the people they love while others are inking important events or even the things they want to achieve in life.

”I decided to ink my skin because it has a very good meaning in my life,” Amalia Gallego, 9th grader, said.

Other High Students decided to tattoo what they want to accomplish in life and their seek for their legitimate goal by symbolizing it, giving their life a meaning and a path to follow and never forget.

“It symbolizes serenity, something meaningful and important to me because that is a very important part of my life that I want to pursue and get better at it,” Carolina Arango, 11th grader, said.

In the meanwhile, other students are getting tattoos from activities they do and that brought them lots of memories and joy  to their lives.

“My tattoo is a wave above my ankle, It symbolizes skiing and how it was such an important part of my live,” Gallego said.

It has also become trendy among TCS High School getting tattoos representing  how essential their family is.

“It means family and union and the initials of my family so it’s very important for me,” Santiago Ramirez, 12th grader, said.

A pact between the High School students and their loved ones has also been a great motive for them to get tattoos representing love.

My mom is also getting the tattoo as a commitment,” Ramirez said.

Even though tattoos have a big role in  aesthetic appearance, all of the students agreed that they did them to mark an important moment and not because of a appearance.

I didn’t do it for aesthetic reason at all, because I don’t think it is worth it having something in your body for the rest of your life only for an aesthetic reason,” Arango said.

Tattoos have given students  a reason to mark permanently something worth thinking about and acknowledge it has a big role in their life.

“What I like the most about having a tattoo if having a constant remainder of what matters the most and why should I be grateful at every time,” Ramirez said.
