What TCS High School Has Planned For Their Spring Break

What+TCS+High+School+Has+Planned+For+Their+Spring+Break

Spring Break is almost here, and TCS students are gearing up for exciting adventures with their families. With destinations ranging from Colombia to the US, there’s sure to be a trip for everyone.

“I am very excited because we will probably be going to Florida with my family which personally is my favorite US state since it has a great culture, amazing beaches, and the best malls in the world. Also, I might be going with my cousin and her family which always makes trips even more fun” Emiliana Rojas 9th grade student, said.

Whether students are hitting the beach in Miami or exploring the historic sites of Niagara Falls, Spring Break is a time to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories.

“I will be traveling with my family to the United States starting in Chicago and eventually driving to Ontario, Canada to visit Niagra Falls which is a place we wanted to go to for years. I think we will be visiting other states but I’m not sure which, all I know is that we will be doing one of the largest car trips that we’ve ever done” said Juan Hoyos Grade 11 student.

On the other hand, some students will be staying in Colombia. No matter where their travels take them, TCS students are sure to return with stories to share no matter where this 2024 spring break takes them.

“I will be going to Santa Marta with my grandparents and then to Andes, Antioquia with my friends which has me extremely excited because my farm is in Andes, and in my opinion, it is the best place to spend time with my friends since the climate is warm and the views are spectacular,” Said Valeria Pertuz 12th grade student.

There are some students who will stay inside the country and get to experience and learn more about the beautiful culture and nature that Colombia holds.

“I will be traveling with my family to the eje cafetero to visit its amusement parks and its beautiful topography, I will be traveling with my parents and my little sister and it will be our first time there which has me pretty excited,” said Martin Uribe 11th grade student

There are also some students who will be using this spring break to get to know universities and get prepared for what is to come.

“I will be going to Miami with my parents and my little sister, then we will go to Indiana to tour potential colleges like Perdue and Indiana University which are both liberal arts schools.” Said Veronica Urdaneta 11th grade student.

Many students will be going to their farms this spring break and will be using this time to relax and get their energies up for the final quarter of school for 2024.

I will be going to my farm in Puente Iglesias with my family and I will be trying to relax as much as I can because this school year has consumed a lot of my energy.” Said Elisa Arango.
