The newest construction on The Columbus School soil is the administration building with the plan to extend class rooms in middle school.

It was started almost a month ago on October and it will go until May of the next year. The building is located in the middle of middle school and the are building which will cost nearly 4,312 million pesos.

The central building is the new building that is in the middle of the school and will have on the first floor the entire administrative area and the second floor will be left for academic things and will have a value of 4.312 million pesos,” Elen Yepes says.

At first, some students were confused because the idea of a new building in the middle of the school wasn’t as clear as it should be.

“I like the idea that the school is expanding but I don’t really understand how are they suppose to put an entire administrative building where they are going to build it because I think that they trying to fit every new building where they can and eventually there would not be enough space for more constructions,” Tomás Quintero, 11th grade student, said.

On the other hand, there are students that are fascinated with each plan that the school is having because it is a priority that the school grow as much as they can.

“The most important thing for the school is to expand and to innovate with the new constructions and I think is an excellent idea that how they think about the future by trying to expand their facilities,” Luis Felipe Saldarriaga 11th grade student, said.

This new building will have a very big impact because this is the start of the new plans that the school will be making for the next couple of years.

This building is the beginning of a very big plan that the school is going to have and everything has to do with expanding what they can because students from F classes in elementary arrive to middle school and then to high school,” Yepes says.
