Is Battlefield 1 still the best first person shooter game?

Through gunshots, explosions and people screaming in the background, Battlefield 1 has taken a step closer  to the dark reality of WW1, earning best selling game in a month, after its release on October 21 2016. Battlefield, the first person shooter game based on WW1 was able to surpass its expectancy and to bury its competition, Infinite Warfare.

BattleField 1 is a pay to play solo and online multiplayer game that was initially launched for the Xbox, Ps4 and Microsoft Windows platforms. Action is non stop and there is not resting during the game; you are always running around trying to capture and conquer a territory in order to give your team a better strategic position so you can win the game.

When we take a look at graphics, BattleField 1 does a pretty impressive job. They are able to deliver very clear and sharp images which can make the actual battlefield look really nice. Although graphics are pretty sharp, the game is able to run smoothly and although there can be many things happening at once, like explosions, bullets flying around and planes also the game is capable with all of this and this makes it very enjoyable. In Comparison to its rival, Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare, which is also very good overall and runs smoothly, you can sometimes experience a bit of problems when many things happen at once, for example frame drops.

Many of the CoD games including Infinite Warfare have a very big issue which is very difficult to control, called hackers. Hackers are a headache in the virtual game industry due to ruining experiences for legitimate players and people who are trying to have some fun. This is one of the things that affects very negatively CoD Infinite Warfare due to people not recommending it. When it comes to Battlefield 1 although there are some people to find a way how to hack and ruin the game, the majority has been able to stay clean of this due to bans of accounts. Because of simple things like this Battlefield 1 shows how it is able to help and maintain its community.

One of the most important aspects of games, if no the most important aspect, is the sound quality. Sound quality can determine many things in a game, things such as player positioning, gunshots, weapon types, vehicle types, between others. Battlefield 1 does a very impressive job when delivering sounds to the player, if you actually focus and turn up the volume after some practice you are able to identify all of this things due to sounds. This gives you a very big advantage over your opponent. On the other hand Infinite Warfare also does quite a good job when it comes to sounds, if you are a very experienced player who has tried the game for quite some time you are also able to pick up most of this things. One of the biggest problems Infinite Warfare has  when it comes to sound is that too many things can happen in the map at once, for example different grenade types can lead to one sound overcoming the other and blocking gunshots. Due to this I think Battlefield 1 is a bit more forgiving to new players.

One of the causes that Battlefield 1 became so popular was that it was based on WW1. This made the battles much more realistic and based on real battles so many times you fought as allies or as central powers, which made the game way more interesting. People were tired of futuristic games those like CoD Advanced Warfare and after CoD Infinite Warfare was a Mix of AW and something a bit more realistic they basically turn their backs to it. Finally because Battlefield 1 was based on a real war, it has a very unique story behind the game where you are explained every mission with it being connected to WW1. Thanks to all of this things BattleField 1 is one of the best first person shooter games and it is also able to beat by a big difference its competition from CoD Infinite Warfare.
