Ammazza: Best Pizza and Pasta in Town

Through time, restaurants and diners have become more popular. Nowadays, because of delivery apps like Rappi, you don’t even have to go to the restaurant to get your food–the food comes to you–making it easier to get whatever you want, whenever you want. This not only allows the restaurants to gain popularity but also improve accessibility, since lots of restaurants do not have built-in delivery services. It is still amusing to go to the restaurant itself, especially because most establishments have had to improve their dining experience to attract customers who now have the option of staying at home. Ammazza is one of these restaurants, that will impress you not only with their food but also with the service.

Music is phenomenal, and the place is spotless. You have plenty of options to chose on where to sit, their is high tables, tables with sofa and standard tables; there is even some kind of VIP place where you can go and have a beautiful and romantic date. Besides, Relaxing music playing all the time makes you want to stay even more time than you were expecting. In contrary, in Andres Carne De Res music is like party music and has a high volume, causing you to headaches when you are not in the mood for a party; a thing that would never happen in Ammazza.

Not many restaurants have images on their menu, and I believe that is essential. It makes it remarkably easy to choose your plate if you’ve already seen it. For example, in Jabali, the menu is only with words, and things don’t seem as they are when you read them. Instead in Ammazza, the list has lots of images showing how the plate looks like, meaning if you are hungry you get even hungrier when you see the menu. Also, Ammazza has a variety of options; it has al combinations of pasta and pizzas with protein; on the contrary, Jabali has about six dishes. I would dare to say Ammazza has three times the amount of plates Jabali has.

The waiters are incredibly professional. They say good afternoon or good night depending on the time of the day and introduce themselves, which makes the customer feel much more welcome. They have no problem with waiting for you if you are not sure of the option you want to get. Also, they know the plates perfectly which allows you to have more trust in the dishes. When the food gets to your table, they say “Buen provecho” which make the customer feel respected and competent. Lastly, after retiring your plate, they ask how it went which finalizes your experience in the best way.

However, a success that happens in Ammazza made me doubt all the right things I mentioned before. When the waitress was bringing me the check, a cockroach fell from the roof of the restaurant straight to my cup. After this, I freaked, and a waitress came and asked me what happen politely, and I showed him the animal. When he saw it, he went straight to the administrator and told him something. The administrator came to me and said to me he was sorry for what happened, but the reaction they should have should be giving something to the client. For example, once in Chipotle, I found a hair in my food, and they gave me two free bowls do to this incident. I would say Amazza should do something similar.

This success made me lower the rating I had of Ammazza when I went, and any incident happens I would say it is a 5/5 star restaurant, but after this, it because of a 3.5/5. Food is entirely delicious, and service is extraordinary, but the fact that they only said sorry take away lots of points. Anyways, it could be an excellent option to go with your family and friends, hoping any incident will happen.
