70 Years of Alumni Reunite on a Special Night

The school invites 70 years of alumni to reunite on a special night . This event will be held at the Columbus School on the night of October 21.

To reunite all of the alumni throughout the years, the school is putting in their best effort. One of the main  organizers of the 70 year reunion of The Columbus School,  Astrid Muños gives us an insight on the development.

“The primary reason why we want to make the invitation to all alumni is because this year 2017 we are celebrating 70 years,” said Muños.

The school has always had a primary goal to keep in touch with their graduates. And this is the perfect excuse to strengthen those links. They have created a platform for alumni with the primary goal of recreating the bonds between the alumni and The Columbus School.

“Through www.columbusgraduates.com the graduates can update their information, and will be sent the information of the party . In addition the graduates of the school are very united by  whatsapp chats, and the committee of graduates of the school, the information will also be given,” said Muños .

Reaching out to all the alumni is not an easy task. This is why the school has generated various strategic platforms to make sure everyone interested is informed. With this platform it gives the school knowledge of what their graduates are up to.

“The party starts at 8 pm until 3 am at The columbus School. The main band is Kukara it will also include a dj to entertain all generations, a special show, food, bar ,and many surprises,” said Muños.

This is a never before seen event at the school. It’s going to be a night to remember for all graduates and the school. And for many perfect opportunity to reunite and remember old times.

“The tickets can be purchased at the Bookstore or in San Carbón restaurant and has a value of $ 35,000. Have the following information at hand: identification, Year of graduation, and email, ” said Muños.

If you are an alumni you know that The Columbus School is much more than a school it’s a family. This is why the school takes priority in keeping their graduates linked to the school.

Richard Newcomer an alumni that currently works as the technology teacher for 9th grade gives us his perspective.

“I enrolled my child at The columbus school because i’m an alumni i love the school and the things that i’ve learned here i have learned to appreciate them a lot,” said Newcomer.
