Martina Torres, a third grade student of The Columbus School, and a rider at Club Campestre Llanogrande, attended the competition held there on October 5th. She has been riding for around two years in the Academy at Club Campestre Llanogrande with the teacher Paola Gutierrez.
“I feel very happy and excited because I love horses and I love the adrenaline from jumping. I also feel nervous,” Torres said.
As the last competitor finished their course, Paola Gutierrez the coach reflected on what the results would mean.
“I’ve always believed that the outcome of my students is a mirror of my work as a teacher, so my goals for every competition are to work hard in class so that the outcomes in the competitions are good. So the outcomes of this competition leave me very happy.”
