Soy Georgina Netflix Series has been a hit during this past year that has been screening all around the world. An emotive and detailed series showing the daily life of Georgina Rodriguez: mother, influencer, business-woman, and girlfriend of famous soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo.

Soy Georgina, is a Netflix special reality show. The series is very well produced, it seems natural and like a great way to show Georgina Rodríguez’s busy life. However, some say the opposite; that is pretty much scripted. Georgina seems to be living her life as she does without cameras following her around. It had lots of things to offer, but the most outstanding part was the behind the scenes of her life with all of her chaos. 

Acknowledging that not everything in her life is perfect as people portray, she has a lot of things to take in as the woman she is. Even though she works on her own projects, it has all been about Ronaldo. Her romance with the soccer star began when Ronaldo met her at the Gucci store she used to work at back when she was a ‘normal’ person. 

Many people argue that it’s Ronaldo’s blood and sweat to get them where they are. It sets a bad example for the youngsters watching this series and shed light on how people will be around you when you have money.

During the first season of the series Georgina shows how much her life has changed since she started dating Ronaldo. Her famous life as the wife of the most famous soccer player implies living in luxury. Her life consists of activities such as: watching the Formula 1 in Monaco from a private yacht, jewelry, designer clothes, red carpets etc. 

This has upset people because she is mostly showing her luxury life and doesn’t seem to acknowledge how it’s actually due to Ronaldo’s success. She mainly focuses on showing her lavish life as Ronaldo’s wife, but fails to give him credit for his hard work.

Nevertheless, the series also shows her downs. Georgina is deep and sincere about the hardships she has encountered, such as losing their baby. She makes sure to teach people about the realities of living in the public eye, not everything seems like she shows in social media.

The Kardashians is another reality show that documents Kylie, Kim, Kendall, Kourtney and Khloe’s life. These girls are recognized celebrities all around the world because of their reality and their big businesses founded by each of them. Many people say that compared to Soy Georgina, the docuseries shows how the Kardashians grew to fame and how they worked hard for the fortune and luxuries they currently have. The reality showed what spotlight is really about and how to correctly use their platforms for many things not only to show material things, while Georgina showed 90% of the time what she had and it was an egocentric and selfish docuseries. She tried to show a foundation she is ‘helping’ but truly she only shows Facetime with Ronaldo talking to the kids. 

Yet, there’s something missing, and it might just be that the program is too smooth; without conflict, eccentricity, or edge, it’s a lovely experience to watch but one that’s quickly forgotten. The show, which was created in Spain and was originally filmed in Spanish before being dubbed over for English-speaking viewers, is partially to blame for this because of the language barrier. It makes sense why this was done given Netflix’s active pursuit and adaptation of foreign content as the need for local content has increased.

Nonetheless, the best reality shows frequently succeed due to linguistic nuance. The lifeblood of reality television is catchphrases, meme-worthy sayings, and snarky twists of phrase, all of which are challenging, if not impossible, to dub over without losing anything in the process.

Also, there is hardly any tension. Finally, Soy Georgina docuseries, documents how she is living her life after Crsitiano Ronaldo became her boyfriend and dad to her 3 kids. Even though it is a selfish and egocentric documentary because she shows luxuries and material things she owns, Georgina is a lovely mother and girlfriend.

People should watch this documentary because although Georgina Rodriguez may not be a household name to most viewers, as the partner of one of the most famous persons in the world, she has more than met the requirements for becoming a reality television star, and get to know her life much in-depth.
