La Guajira is facing a major problem with the water drought crisis. As you can see in this picture, it is a desert that suffers immensely from water scarcity. We went to la Guajira and learned a lot of new things. One of them was the causes of having water scarcity. Kids, from all ages are staying home to walk for water instead of going to school. Worse than that people are dying of dehydration. This is a problem that needs an urgent solution. Clearly it has not been addressed for a long amount of time. The solution starts with you, contributing in anything that you can. Each person can be aware of the amount of water the use. They can manage their shower time, close the tap when they brush their teeth, and gain consciousness of the water they waste and use. Simple…very simple. Consider this world your world.
