Breaking the Cycle

Since the great breakthrough of human civilization and hierarchies, we as a community have faced a continuous issue of injustice, and inequality. Whilst some people get it all with no work, others work without any satisfaction, and the most unfortunate- don’t even get a chance to work. According to the United Nations,  poverty has been cut in half after some actions, but we are still far from completing this goal. The root of this problem, in my humble yet educated opinion, would be education. Education is the root of all success, and if we want this world wide impoverishment to end, we must educate them and/or help educate them .

Poverty is an issue that has plagued the human race since the dawns of higher civilizations. Once we stopped thinking like a community and shifted into hierarchy, groups started to be formed and some got left behind in the basic survival needs categories.

The root of this issue, I dare say is education. Impoverished families are often filled with  uneducated individuals, and sometimes can’t afford their children leaving for school, either because lack of funds or they decided they need the child working at home instead. Not only that, but sometimes the families are very discouraging at the idea of the child learning anything, and go to outrageous ends to prevent their education and keep them where they want them.

It’s clear that without proper education it’s impossible to get a job, and without one you will not be able to give your children proper education either, creating an endless loop of impoverishment, until one breaks free. This character is important, usually the one that breaks free is the one who is encouraged by others or is given an immense opportunity, promoting hard work and a brighter future.
