Tribal House taking over The Columbus School

TCS is having a trend that not everyone was expecting and maybe for some people is good and for others the opposite. This trend is electronic music, or to be more concise the Tribal House. Music that is composed here with all different type of music of all around the world put just in on rhythm and this creates it.

All this began a few months ago that this music became fashionable in Colombia.  Then, of course, it was going to get to TCS; it is a genre of music called Tribal House that was created here in Colombia many years ago. That has only reached its full success in the last year.

“I personally love this music and I try to transmit it to my other colleagues since I want everyone to listen to it and let’s make this a tradition and not just a trend,” Jeronimo Posada, TCS 11th grader, stated.

All this started spreading a couple months before. A little group of people start listening to this music. During time it started to be popular and all students start to listen to this music.

This music is becoming a trend not only in the 11th grade but in all the years. A lot of people are listening to it and they like it a lot, it becomes so addictive that people spend all their time listening to these Colombian melodies.

“I really like this music and all my friends also like it and all day we look for new sets of different Djs and each one shares the sets we like the most,” Oriana Garces TCS 8th grader replied.

This music is so popular that they no longer only listening to it but some students of TCS are mixing it and they are making their own sets, with music that they get all over Medellin with different people more experienced in this topic.

“My passion forward this music is so strong that a few months ago I began to mix it and I already have several sets. I don’t pretend to be a DJ but I want to  perfect it and be able to play this console at parties with all my friends,” Santiago Garcia stated 11th grader Student.

This music is not the best for society because this music is exposed in events that are a bit heavy for people of our age; not only for us but also for all ages. It is a scene where you can see drugs and other substances.

“I have gone to these types of parties and it is not the most recommended. You can become forced or you can get provoked to try these drugs .-ñsince this music makes you see the world a little different than how you have seen it another type of music, ” Miguel Ferrer, TCS Alumni, said.
