Medellin has build up a big name becoming one of the most visited cities in the country for tourism, and incredible food experiences. Going from claimed international restaurants featuring Italian, french, Argentinian, and more flavors, up to new urban experiences with fast food places. Brooklyn Swag & Burgers has caught a lot of attention since it openned in late 2017 for the burger lovers. Located in the zona rosa, just by la calle 10, it is a restaurant with a lot of potential clients due to its location. But all this advantages are brought down by the eating experience. With a combination of poor professionalism and unpreparedness, Brooklyn Swag & Burgers leaves much to be desired.

Brooklyn Swag & Burgers does a very good job having a good variation of beers and drinks. They have all types of teas, sodas, and both famous beers and local companies. However, the menu isn’t very extensive concerning the food options.Once you step up in the ordering bar to take a glance at the menu, you are left with two options of burgers. There is only a variation on the amount of meats you can order, the quantity of vegetables, and finally if you want it in combo or not. In comparison to other burger restaurants, Brooklyn swag & Burgers would be catalogued as a poor looking menu. Burger places must have space for personalisation. Places like El Corral, allow the customer to choose from a menu that contains all types of burgers. Going from Mexican burgers to a burger that even contains egg. Also, in Brooklyn swag and burgers, they just offer one type of fries. Places like Grille, have fries with melted cheese and bacon on top, giving the customer more variation. When menus are more open, the customer is incentivized to go more than one time and have new tasting experiences. In contrast, customers from Brooklyn swag & burgers will eventually stop going and look for new tastes.  

Brooklyn Swag & Burgers has a very good location, but they don’t really make a good use of it. The place is distributed incorrectly with too much space in between tables, which reduces the potential capacity of the restaurant. The other thing is that they have 3 tables outside, which is actually good. But the tables don’t have a very good illumination; customers should be able to enjoy of the visual moments of a tasting burger as much as it’s taste. In comparison to other restaurants, there is a higher number of capacity for more people to enjoy at the same time. This makes it more comfortable for customers since they don’t have to wait in line. On the other hand, multiple restaurants located in the calle 10 make good use of the outside spaces. Instead, Brooklyn swag & burgers makes the outside tables look left out. Instead of using it to create decks as the famous restaurant, Romero, in which you can experience a more vivid but private ambient. Having an attracting ambience is also a very important aspect, by making the customer enjoy the whole eating experience.

The burgers are always cooked perfectly and combined with a very good taste of ingredients. In the general aspects, the classic cheese & bacon Brooklyn Burger was looking good in the sense of quality. The burger’s beef was very juicy and the cheese was well melted on top of the crispy bacon. The vegetables were fresh which made the burger good looking and most importantly, tasty. At times, when there is confusion it’s easy to have misleading errors on the preparation of the food, but Brooklyn Swag & Burgers does a very good job having their orders perfectly crafted. Compared to other great fast food restaurants such as In-N-Out burgers, you can see the impact ingredients have on taste. The taste of two meats backed up by various bacons, accompanied with three to four lettuce sheets and two to three tomato slices, definitely makes your eating experience unforgettable. Just like in Brooklyn Swag & Burgers, the options available to make your burger are very well made no matter how the order is or the changes you make, the spectacular flavor won’t change. There are definitely multiple better tasting burgers than Brooklyn swag & Burgers, every aspect of the burger ends up defining the experience of the costumer.

However, once you are ready to leave and pay for the food, confusion is in the air. There are three or five waiters trying to accommodate all the people that don’t have a table, other people are waiting to pay as well, and then there are some others that have already waited too long to pay so they pack all up in the register making a whole mess. Once again, the manage of space has to be re organized. Places like romero have a waiting zone which allows people to know the availability at all times. The other problem is that there is a very small amount of personnel, instead in Romero, there are more than twenty waiters making it a very attentive service. Finally, as a result of more personnel and space for everyone, when it’s time to order and pay there is always someone that will carry out your request in a faster way.  

At the end, when it comes to restaurants, you must decide a place in which you will have a combination of joy and elite taste in order to have a delightful experience. If you decide to go to Brooklyn Swag & Burgers you will have a good tasting burger. Even Though, the inexperienced crew, the delayed service, and the reduced space; will test your nerves.
