IAEA Debates a Nuclear Free Future

On Monday,  April 3, the IAEA committee opened with delegates speeches and an open debate on the use of nuclear power and energy.

The main theme of the committee IAEA is the potential revival of nuclear power industry, which is driven and conducted by rising fossil fuel prices, and has a concern about greenhouse emission limits. However, there was a lot of disagreement on the issue.

“Everyone should promote nuclear energy,” the delegate from France said.

There were several disagreements, like the delegation from North Korea and the delegation from Iraq, who both argued the cons of this problem, and how this constantly damaged the world and it’s living creatures. However, there were other delegations who also supported the use of nuclear power, including the revival of the nuclear industries.

“If other countries use nuclear powers, nothing happens, but if North Korea uses it, it becomes a major problem and damage in the world,” the delegate from North Korea said.

While the delegate from North Korea was arguing about the negative causes of this power, the delegations of Russia, France and South Korea agreed with the delegation of United States and its position, because all these countries supported the idea of the right usage and control of nuclear power all around the world.

“South Korea supports nuclear power,” the delegation of South Korea said.

“The delegation of France will like to invite the other delegation to unite and agree to nuclear weapons.” the delegation of France said.

Based on previous information and what the delegation of The United States stated, Nuclear Power is considered a helpful resource and recently safer energy to use. Even though, the Supreme Leader in North Korea has the power to control and handle Nuclear energy in the country, there will still be risks to take, if this power is not controlled.
