Colegio Canadiense Wins Girls Volleyball Copa Title
Colegio Canadiense beat Colegio las San Jose de las Vegas 2-0 to capture the Copa Columbus Girls volleyball championship in the TCS coliseum on April 8.
Colegio Canadiense dominated from the start with a very effective defense that made it difficult for Las Vegas to score. The TCS girls volleyball team had to settle for 4th place losing 2-1 in the consolation match against Colegio Marymount.
“Well, the performance of the girls was good, but they are still scared and nervous. We also come from a pandemic although we have played some games it is different when there are many people from your school watching,” Nestor Alzate, TCS Girls Volleyball Coach, said.
