Astrid Muños one of the main organizers gives us an insight on the development. The Columbus School invites on its 70 year anniversary all the alumni of the school. This event will be held at the Columbus School in the night of October 21.

Mrs. Muños said “The primary reason why we want to make the invitation to all alumni is because this year 2017 we are celebrating 70 years “. The school has always had a primary goal to keep in touch with their graduates.

Mrs . Muños continued by saying ” we want to invite the graduates of all generations to reunite and rekindle those links between each other and the school”. They have created a platform for alumni with the primary goal of recreating the bonds between the alumni and The Columbus School.

“Through www.columbusgraduates.com The graduates can update their information and will be sent the information of the party . In addition the graduates of the school are very united. By  whatsapp chats, and the committee of graduates of the school the information will also be given” said Mrs.Muños . Reaching out to all the alumni is not an easy task. This is why the school has generated various strategic platforms to make sure everyone interested is informed.

When asked more information about the party she said “The party starts at 8 pm until 3 am at the columbus School. The main band is Kukara it will also include a dj to entertain all generations, a special show, food, bar ,and many surprises”. This is not just any party the school is putting all its efforts to make it a night to remember.

“For the school its very important to keep close to their graduates. They want them to know that the institution will always be a home for them. And have the goal to consolidate a center of alumni promoting the union ,and offering meeting spaces to strengthen the links” said Mrs. Muños . They take priority in expanding this message. Since it’s important for the school to show that this is much more than a school it’s a family.
