Violeta Gallon on “Students get a taste of university life”

Dear Editors,

I hope this letter finds you well. Today I read your article “Students get a taste of university life”. I loved how it reflected the chances universities give to let students get to know themselves and even take some advantage of their university life. This article represents that students have an opportunity to do what they love and be fully successful. Well, it really is incredible that universities like EAFIT are opening these doors for us.  Even if this article was clear, concise, and informative it missed something really important, the cons of taking university classes during the last years of school. Well, you know high school has a heavy load of homework now that many students are already taking pre-AP and AP classes already during school hours. This article should mention the negative impacts that classes after school have. Well, students could have too much homework and not have enough time for the social, familiar, and personal time of their life, which is proved to be extremely important for teenagers. Well many classes in high school such as AP LANG have up to a minimum of 6 hours of homework each week, well maybe school classes and university classes at the same time could be too much. Thank You for your time and I hope you listen to my suggestion.

Sincerely,

Your most devoted reader,

Violeta Gallon Muñoz
