Game Over, Man! a movie directed by Kyle Newacheck, was released to the public on March 23. The main point of the movie was to make three “dumb” hotel workers seek a way to become rich with their own video game. Their idea was to sell their game to  Bay Awadi, played well by Utkarsh Ambudkar, a rich instagrammer who was interested in buying it. Shamefully, at the end it was a complete lie. This decision only made Mr. Ahmad, greatly played by Jamie Demetriou, pissed.

In general the movie sucked. First of all they over exceed the gore scenes, which is gross and boring. that were horrible. For example, when Mr. Ahmad, stole Awadi’s dog, then connected a bomb put him on a fishbowl, exploited him creating a river of blood.

Friends fat Alexx, played by Adam DeVine, funny and smart Joel, played by Blake Anderson, and dumb and lazy  Darren, well played by Anders Holm, all had enormous problems. Darren had a drug problem and Alexx thought he was the center of everyone’s attention. The whole problem  between the three friends made the movie repetitive and hard to follow. This creates colossal problems for the audience which makes it difficult understand and enjoy.

One of the best movies on Netflix this year was Death Note, a story based on boy who gets the death note and reveals the it secrets contains. This is similar to Game over, Man! due to the high amount of blood in each scene. The difference in between them is the way they demonstrate the violent scenes. In Death Note the scenes are more controlled.  For example, in Death Note the school bully was killed by exploding his head on a step, while in Game Over, Man! The violence is even more excessive and disgusting.

One of the worst parts of the movie, was a gang of terrorist puts a bomb on someone’s head and exploded the bomb, blowing him up. This was to create fear in  the hostages. This was revenge for the humiliation Awadi inflicted on Mr. Ahmad. He saw the best way to make him pay was creating fear to the public do to Bay Awadis dumb problems with Mr. Ahmad. Which worked do to the high amount of pressure committed to the hostages.

This movie is horrible! I just could not stand the large amount of blood and perverted sexual  scenes. For me, this completely ruined the whole movie. The creators may have believed it’s funny to play with real life problems, but it’s not. Drug addicts have an real and serious illness that should not be made fun of. Darren begins the film smoking salvia and ended up snorting cocaine. Lastly, Alexx wons the attention of everyone by his bad treating to others.

The producers of Game over, Man! Believe this film is pure comedy. I do not.
