The burger master has become  one of the most important and famous culinary events in Medellin and Colombia over the last few years. This event is a competition for hamburger restaurants  to bring their  most extreme burger ideas to the public for 18 mil pesos This event was created in the year 2016 by famous culinary critic and celebrity Tulio Recomienda, who also wins a big percentage of the sales made.

The burger master is an excellent event that not only proposes innovation and evolution in Colombia but also brings social and economic benefits by moving thousands of millions of pesos every single year in just one week.

This event invited over 50 new burger spots just in Medellin. The main reason why restaurants want to  participate is because of the recognition they gain, even if it’s a small business this event can bring a lot of opportunities. Not only this, but they will be featured in newspapers and influencers pages all over Colombia.

Burger Master is part of 3 events created by Tulio the other 2 being the Sushi and the Pizza master. This brings inclusion by giving people with different tastes a place for them. All of these events last up to 1 week and during these days over 800.000 plates are served and more than  20.000 million pesos are spent. This money makes a huge difference not only for the business but for the Colombian economy.

The winner is chosen by the  people’s rating, with over 200.000 downloads in just one week Tulio’s app is used by the public to see the images of the burgers, see where they are located and after eating them rate them from 1-5 stars.
