Running an effective UN model requires some investment and devotion. Cosmun’s logistics team worked dedicatedly, but ultimately everything ran smoothly.

The organization for this event is impeccable, the effort put into it flaunts. The work done is totally underrated and the students that take an interest ought to be cheered for their astonishing performance. This is portrayed on their online web page since it is so well distributed with all the jobs assigned to the logistics department, the secretary commission and the committees.

“This model is completely serious, people put a lot of effort into the model, not only us that plan the logistics and payment but the presidents of the committees to guide and prepare to debate in their commissions. We can clearly see the input and output,” said Camilo Diez, a twelve grade student at TCS and the logistics president at 2018 Cosmun model.

The team is extremely prepared for every one of the impediments they need to overcome if presented, and the excitement put into his program is astounding, where everybody is profited for the tremendous achievements.

“There has obviously been a lot of challenges, at the beginning we were not gonna be able to do this model for more than two days, so we had to talk to Arbabi, and of course obstacles come along the way,” said Maria Jose Rico an eleventh grade student at TCS and sub-secretary general in Cosmun 2018. She expressed her concerns with a passive solution and never giving up on hope. “Nervous is not the way to describe how I am feeling, I believe everything good thing could go wrong and that is our job, to minimize the harm of anything that could happen and overcome all the obstacles,” Rico added.

Despite the fact that Cosmun has an extraordinary group that prepared everything beforehand, there is a possibility that something can turn out badly, and the way the department considers the issues is in the best interest of the event and not raising any more issues, simply pushing ahead.

“[Cosmun] helps their social interactions, in the future if they encounter situations where they have to dwell with, they will be able [to] present these things to others express their ideas,” said Diez, delivering his passion for Cosmun in every way.

The logistics department not only encourages and provides organization, but most of all work together so the committees such as Allies, Axis, IAEA, Legal and others have an exceptional model. Since Cosmun is not only based on debating but also about students receiving motivation for life.

“Cosmun is about learning how to be a leader and overcoming these situations,” said Rico.
