Class of 2017 Presents ISP’s

12th grade students present their Independent Study Projects (ISP) at The Columbus School’s Upper Coliseum on May 30 and 31.

12th grade ISP displays. The ISPs expose student experiences in a company of their choice, varying from restaurant, to businesses, or even in soccer teams.
Juan Martin Vera’s Renault kiosk.  Vera based his ISP on the Renault Kangoo, a zero emissions transport vehicle.
David Perez and Santiago Trujillo play soccer tennis at Daniel Botero’s and Federico Moreno’s kiosk at La 25 soccer club. La 25 is a soccer club from Medellin which is based on youth promotion, provide advanced and professional development for talented teens.
Atletico Nacional’s Copa Libertadores trophies next to its 70th anniversary poster. Pedro Martinez and Daniel Gonzalez did their ISP at Atletico Nacional, where they learned how the institution worked.
Gabriel Pardo and Carlos Loaiza present their ISP about Sura, next to Sura’s tiger. Pardo and Loaiza learned about Sura, an insurance company which provides health insurance, car insurance and more insurance services.
Pablo Velasquez and Camilo Giraldo present their ISP of Nacional de Chocolates to 10th grade girls. During their ISP they learned about Nacional de Chocolates and its brands Jet, ChocoListo, Corona, Jumbo, and more.
El Cielo’s chef prepares some biscuits, which include almond-flavored watermelon and dark chocolate truffle. Catalina Duque and Maria Luisa Arango did their ISP at El Cielo restaurant, a fine and elegant restaurant, in Calle 10, Medellin.
Juanita Agudelo prepares her ISP kiosk at Kometsales with flowers from different colors. Agudelo and Maria Jose Abisaad did their independent at Kometsales, a company that develops flower softwares.
Agustin Restrepo waits for someone to go to his ISP about Haciendas Francia y Lusianita. Haciendas Francia and Lusianita are cattle farms, where Restrepo learned how the cow industry worked.
Daniela Stephanou waits for someone to come to her ISP about Brujula. Stephanou learned about Brujula, a rehabilitation center that provides aid to people with addictions and mental problems.
Marcela Gomez and Sofia Molina present their ISP on 108yoga to Middle School girls. 108yoga is an academy in Medellin, based on yoga classes and ideologies.
Valentina Echeverri and Sofia Mora’s kiosk on Grupo Nutresa and its brands. Echeverri and Mora based their ISP on fast food brands of Nutresa, Papa John’s, Taco Bell, Krispy Kreme and El Corral.
Porsche 911 at Pascal Escobar’s and Sara Restrepo’s ISP. On Escobar’s ISP at Porsche he learned about the concessionary and how it worked.
