Urban Talent Show!

The urban talent show took place this past Thursday June 7th in the susan walley theater, and was a huge sucess as many people attended, including lots of excited parents. 

The how had a range of great presentations from the elementary kids, and the organization was perfect.

“ For 6 years I have been organizing the talent show and 4 years ago we decided to put a theme, mainly so that the talent show was more organized,” said Alejandra Villa, homeroom teacher 2F.

The main idea of having a theme is that everything is more organized and also so that the talent show could also educate the spectators and the elementary kids about important and creative topics that include important information that include all the world.

“ During the show you can see how there was important information about the theme which was urban and the hosts gave information on what was urban,” said Camila Escorcia, 11th grade student that attended the show.

Even though the theme was urban it didn’t meant that all the acts were urban. There were all kind of acts all the way through ballet, magic tricks to singers and dancing.

“Having a theme is mostly for the publicity and for it to look cooler and more attractive for the spectators, ” said Villa.

For the past four years of the talent show there were other themes the first one was Summer also Carnival and it educated about the different carnivals around the world, Cinema and it told the story of cinema, and this years theme Urban that it was about the history of urban.

“Attending the talent show but this time from the audience was a trip through memory lane and how amazing that old days were,” said Escorcia
