Air Pollution

In the past month, Medellin had been in orange alert which means that the air pollution is bad. On March 4, RCN the news in Colombia reported that the orange alert passed to red. In this picture we can see like a dirt cape, or a cloud that is like a white or gray cloud. All that is pollution, dirt, and smoke particles that get together and make a gigantic cloud with time. All this pollution accumulates in the air  of Medellin because the city surface which is surrounded by mountains makes a bed that traps all that pollution. The people and plants are getting affected by all that pollution. Plants do not need fresh air since they use carbon dioxide, but humans do in order to live. Plants can’t keep up with the pollution as fast as the cars and industries are producing it. All these things make the environment in Medellin stop improving and evolving. This means that we need to act to stop polluting the air by using more bicycles for transporting, not smoking, use electric cars, stop excessive purchases from polluting factories, and ride the metro and use mass transit.  The government can continue regulating the amount of cars on the road, and make laws to combat contamination.
