TCS new binationals uniform cause controversy

Looking to change the binationals uniforms TCS captains had a meeting on september 28 to discuss how they could change the uniforms and make them better.

The captains first talked to Freddie Badillo about what they could do to modify the uniforms and then they decided to talk to their teams to know their opinion on the current uniforms and the prices and made a survey to know people’s opinions.

“I asked the basketball team what was their opinion on the school uniforms and the prices and almost all the team if not all said that they didn’t like the design and it was very expensive for something that they didn’t like,” said Pablo Florez TCS basketball captain.

When captains discussed the issue with Badillo they tried to explain why they didn’t agree with his decision of the design of the uniform and they gave reasons why they didn’t like it. To make their argument stronger and show discontent among the athletes they decided to create a survey.

“According to the survey most of the athletes didn’t like the uniforms because they were ugly and said that the price was way too expensive so we decided to make our own design for the uniforms,” said Isabela Murillo TCS girls basketball captain.

After the captains made their argument that no athlete liked the design provided by the school they decided to make their own, but it needed to follow some standards set by the school. They did it with all the conditions but it still needed to be approved by Mr. Arbabi and Ms. Ruth since it will become the school’s official uniform.

The captains send the final design to Freddie Badillo the sports coordinator and he said “Hey guys, I have great news!! Your design was approved by Mr. Arbabi and Ms. Ruth. Great job on getting this together.”
