Do you still believe on “God’s” existence? Even when more than 120 wars in the world history have been fought because of religious ideologies, even when more than 50 suicide bombers have lost their lives in 2019 and left their children without a father and without a mother because she was raped and killed in the name of god, even when between 1981 and 2015 more than 4,800 people have suicide in the name of god. So, do you still believe there is a “God” that protects humans from the evil? Isn’t it curious how people still have faith on something without an existence or to something that causes more damage than repair? Religion is a system created by humans to manipulate and control people and make them do whatever they want to.

Faith makes people do unimaginable things just to get what they want. “It is possible to ‘convince’ some people that there’s a God. Religions have been accomplishing that for millennia,” John Shook, american writer, said. Zero proofs have been found of “God’s” existence. Fighting with reality is a very difficult thing. The curious side is that still more than the 95% of the population do believe in religion. “All religion, my friend, is simply evolved out of fraud, fear, greed, imagination, and poetry.” Edgar Allan Poe, american writer, said. Religion was created by a very intelligent individual who just wanted to find life’s purpose, but instead ended up convincing the 95% of the world’s population of something that can’t be proved.

Human population is growing and growing every day. Human number is also manipulated by religion. “Scientists found that damage in a certain part of the brain is linked to an increase in religious fundamentalism. In particular, lesions in the ventromedial prefrontal cortex reduced cognitive flexibility – the ability to challenge our beliefs based on new evidence,” scientist Paul Ratner, said. The brain and the heart are the most important organs in the human body, without them people literally die. Religion is damaging people’s brain by making them live in another reality and lose memory. By manipulating the world’s population, they somehow think they are saving people from starvation, and war, but truly they are literally killing people.

A very big percentage of war in the world happens because of religion. The Bible, the Torah, and the Quran are books that impulse readers to do excessive actions towards their beliefs. Did you know that the global rate of suicide bombers has increased from 3 attacks a year (1980), to 1 a month (1990), to 1 a week (2001), to having one suicide bomber everyday (2015). But still, more than 6,500,000,000 people still have religious ideologies. Manipulation is clear when talking about this specific topic, because many people die or commit suicide because of their beliefs. As said before, the world wide rating of people dying because of religion has increased in a very big rate through the years.

Religion is not only believing on a god but it is also something used to give positive ideals and morals to faithful people. Religion affects in a positive way to health, it is scientifically proven that people who believe in a religion are more stable and happy. “When we encounter problems in our lives, researchers have observed that people can use religion to cope in healthy and unhealthy ways,” David Feldman, american psychologist, said.

Religion is a very cuestionable thing. It is pretty interesting because of people’s opinions and actions towards it. Living with the truth is endlessly better than living thinking that false things are true. Changing from being religious and believing in a book that tells you what to do and what not to do, to living with the truth is something incredible. It proportions reality and tranquility to any individual because truth enters his soul.
