Mariana is a member of the class of 2021. This is her first year in journalism and she is a Discoverer staff writer. Her first published article was “LGBT Issues Cause Tension in Human Rights Council.” Her favorite part about journalism is the fact that she gets to choose what she writes about, and that she can interact with others. Apart from journalism, she is a member of the school's volleyball team. After graduating she wants to study psychology or business in the U.S. An interesting fact about her is that she doesn't like chocolate.
